Impaired drivers kill an average of 4 people and injure 188 people in Canada every 24 hours, each day, every day of the week.

On average 1,500 Canadians are killed every year and 68,000 are injured due to impaired driving.

In Ontario, 41% of motor vehicle crashes are caused by an impaired driver.

When compared to our national homicide rate, drunk driving kills two times the number of Canadians murdered each year.

Statistics show the average age of impaired drivers is between 25 and 34 years.

…a conviction for impaired driving involving a snowmobile, aircraft, boat, farm machinery or ATV can result in the loss of your drivers licence to operate an automobile, as well as a fine or jail sentence.
